Pitchers is making a comeback with a new season on ZEE5, the makers have also released the trailer, which got the fans excited. The new season of Pitchers welcomes back Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Abhishek Banerjee, and Gopal Dutt. In the new season, they are tasked with saving their sinking start-up while leading a group of enthusiastic employees. Directed by Vaibhav Bundhoo, the new season is all set to stream on December 23, 2022, on ZEE5.

A news source quoted the series’ director saying, “It would look better and have a better story in the upcoming part. Both the characters and the start-up world have changed. This show’s primary goal has always been to provide something new for the audience, and we hope to gain their devoted support.

Arunabh Kumar added, “I’m thankful to the fans for their unwavering support since the series release because this is likely one of India’s most eagerly awaited performances. We made an effort to tell this tale of aspirant Indians in the modern era, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Season 1

The series focuses on the lives and careers of four aspiring entrepreneurs, Yogi, Jitu, Naveen, and Mandal. We are thrust into the compelling story of twenty-four-somethings in Mumbai navigating the start-up world for the first time over the course of five episodes, each running roughly 40 minutes. We learn about various facets of these characters’ lives in the first five episodes.

The narrative shows how Naveen’s tenacious idealism results in the development of his start-up and the deterioration of his personal life. We observe how Yogi, an immature bully who regularly terrorizes the innocent-yet-likeable Mandal, comes perilously close to introspection. And how the reserved, intelligent Jitu adjusts to his arranged marriage and the demands of being the ideal son. The situations, characters, and locations in the series successfully mesh to paint a realistic portrait of urban Indian life.

What to expect in Pitchers’ new season?

In the trailer, we meet Navin, Yogi, and Saurabh, 2.5 years after they founded their tech company, PRAGATI. AI. They have expanded to a team of 25 people and are looking for investors to help them expand their start-up to new heights. Naveen tells his two business partners to get ready for a new pitch.

All three actors can be seen attending large conferences and posh venues for parties. However, Abhishek Banerjee also appears in the montage and is seen teaching Naveen some of his “Gyan.” As the company’s founder, Naveen welcomes his colleagues to a new workplace, but as the financial crisis persists, he seems to lose his dream.
